Placemarks:

BLUE Placemarks:           These are rest stops that appear suitable for heavy vehicles.

RED Placemarks:             These are rest stops that require review. The placemark location needs to be  

                                    checked or the suitability of the rest stop for the heavy vehicle is questionable.

YELLOW Placemarks:       These are areas where Heavy Vehicles are NOT permitted.

RSS Feed - When you subscribe to a feed (list of rest truck stops in this case), it is added to the Common Feed List. Updated information from the feed is automatically downloaded to your computer and can be viewed in Internet Explorer and other programs. Learn more about feeds.

See a missing or incorrect rest stop on the Rest Stop Google Maps? 

Email admin@freightmetrics.com.au with the exact location, highway, suitability and comment and we'll update the rest stop as soon as possible.

CAUTION:    Ensure that your route plans on Google Maps are suitable and rated for the type of heavy vehicle e.g. road is B -Double rated etc.  Use caution for all rest stop locations noted as they may be full and allow no room, be time restricted or contain other unidentified risks. A rest area's suitability may change without notice and map update may be delayed.   Rest Area Maps are a constant work in progress as rest stop utilities change and details received.
